# Creating a Project

The first step in starting with Altura is creating a developer account. 

**How to create an account:**

1. Navigate to the [developer dashboard](https://developer.alturanft.com/)
2. Connect your wallet
3. Verify your email address.

Once you have a developer account, you can create a project. A project is a container for all of the NFT collections related to your game. Click the "Create Project" button to create a project.
